In October 2004, Corel Corporation purchased Jasc Software, and with it, the distribution rights to Paint Shop Pro. Originally called simply Paint Shop, the first version, 1.0, was released in early 1992. Paint Shop was originally distributed as shareware, but is now sold in the United States for US$99.99, or US$59.99 for an upgrade from version 7 or higher, which is considerably lower than the price of its main competition, Adobe Photoshop. International prices vary but there is always a price advantage over Photoshop.

How to create beautiful Paint Shop Pro Tubes using the Crystal Clear icon set. These attractive icons can easily be converted to psptubes and used in your website, desktop, and photograph design projects.

Steps:
1. Open up the Crystal Clear icon set web page.
2. Click on the icon you want to convert to a psptube.
3. Right click on the link and save the png file to your computer.
4. Open the *.png file in Paint Shop Pro. (No need to cut out the background because it is already transparent).
5. Go to File > Export > Picture Tube
6. Give the tube a name, leave the default export settings and save.
7. Now your new psptube is available under tube tool for all your projects.
