O.S.: Windows 7 Professional; Scanner-Epson Perfection 3200 Photo.
I have tried to scan thru PSPP X3, with the Twain application, but, no luck. The Twain is greyed out. I have extensively used PSP v9.

The Epson shows as installed on the computer but the error message in PSPP X3 is that a different scanner is attached. According to Corel, the scanner should work with the X3 version and windows 7.

Have you done File > Import > Twain Source and selected the 3200. If you have used a different scanner in the past that will still be the selected scanner (yes even though its no longer installed)

Thanks for your reply, yes, I did what you had suggested, but to no avail. The Epson is the only scanner ever used.

Have you Installed the drivers and Software on the disc. It sound as if all you have is the Windows basic wia drivers

Ok go to control panel > scanner and image. now check here is your scanner show or not if not show than click on add button and install it. then you can use from your application.
