Hey Gang -

This tattoo doesn't look right. I used the multiply layer, but it doesn't look as wrapped around the arm as it should.

Any thoughts???? Thanks!

I've included the original photo of my son and of the tattoo.

This was done in PSPX3.

The displacement tool is the one to shape it but I don't have muck luck with it. So how about the warp brush in contract mode down the front of the arm. Mesh warp may be difficult with it being at an angle
Just an opinion here - I think part of the reason it doesn't "quite" look natural (it's close) is because of the color. If you look at the little bit of a tat you can see on his back, then the tiger is bluish, and then the part around the tiger is black, well they just don't seem to "go together". Sorry if this sounds convoluted! I've done tats on people using the mesh tool even at an angle to get the general direction and then touch up bits w/the warp brush. One other suggestion is to maybe reduce the opacity once you've got it in place and soften up the edges so it looks like it's actually "in" the skin instead of "on" the skin.

Hope that helps! Let us see what you come up with!

Cheers,

gino
