How to install the Paint Shop Pro Lashes & Lips Brushes or other zipped brushes.
This is a beginners tutorial for those having trouble installing brushes in Paint Shop Pro. Several people have had trouble installing the EyeLashes and Lips brushes that I posted several weeks ago. I apologize for not going more in-depth on how to install the brushes. Hopefully, this in-depth tutorial will assist those that have had trouble installing the Lashes and Lips brushes. . This tutorial will walk you through the entire process of unzipping the brushes, and what directory to put them after they are extracted. NOTE: IF you are installing a different brush set, just substitute PSP Lashes and Lips Brushes.zip with “thezipfileyourworkingwith.zip.”
Step 1
Download and install
winrar from this link. NOTE: Winrar is a rar and zip file manager. It allows you to easily zip and unzip files.

Step 2
With winrar now installed, go ahead and download the
eyelashes and lips brushes. NOTE: Remember the location/folder where you save these eyelashes and lips brushes.

Step 3
The file you just downloaded is named PSP Lashes and Lips Brushes.zip, Go to the folder where you downloaded that file. For example, if you chose to save it in My Documents, your file will be located in My Documents.

Step 4
Now, right click on the PSP Lahes and Lips Brushes.zip and select “Extract to PSP Lashes and Lips Brushes.”

Step 5
Once the files are extracted from the zip file you will see a folder in that same directory named “PSP Lashes and Lips Brushes.”

Step 6
Right click the “PSP Lashes and Lips Brushes” folder and select copy.

Step 7
Now, browse to this directory on your computer -> My Documents/My PSP Files/Brushes. Inside the Brushes folder right click and paste the “PSP Lashes and Lips Brushes” folder you copied in the previous step. NOTE: “My PSP Files,” is a directory located under My Documents, where Paint Shop Pro looks for brushes, plug-ins, tubes, scripts, etc., when it loads up

Step 8
Close Paint Shop Pro if open, and restart it.

Step 9
Now go check out your brush tips, if you followed this tutorial correctly they should be available to you. Enjoy!

Ellie,
Just copy and paste the entire unzipped “psp lashes and lips folder” in your My PSP Files/Brushes folder.
To get to My PSP files. Click on My Documents. Then you will see a folder named My PSP files. Click on the My PSP files folder. Inside of My PSP files you will see a folder named “Brushes”
Click inside the Brushes folder. Paste the lips and lashes folder..
This is the directory that Paint Shop Pro looks for new brushes when it loads..
Let me know if you need anymore assistance.

THNX for these tools. They are a wonderful complement to anyone doing stylized work or glamour. Work great too and very easy to control.

How do you get the lases to stay on the picture? lol.. i know that sounds funny. maybe im just doing something wrong. hmm.. When i click to put the lashes on a photo…it just creates a faint black spot where the lases would be. (as if i were using color legacy to create make-up). Do i have o select something??? please help… i know you have a lot of people asking a lot of questions…and im sorry.
Hi!
Your TuT’s are really good, but im unable to create new brushes ( or atleast i got a bit problems with that). So I would like to have some help pls. Okay I went to the link to that web site where to load those eyelash/Mouth brushes. But when i download them they are everything else than a ZIP file.. they are in abr file…which make it impossible to use it in PsP x2 or as I found it..
To sum up a bit..
I need maybe another link for where to download brushes..or smt..thx
i did that but when i tried to import themit says “A file with the name “eyelash2″ already exists. Please choose another name but it says it on all of them

for some reason it wont work,
i have downloaded it and everything, and when i open it up onto paint shop pro it looks nothing like the print screen,
on my psp, when i open it, the eyelashes appear ar the bottom but on a photostrip view, and when i click on an eyelash or lips, it just comes up as an image, with a white background.
i really want to apply the eyelashes normally
will you help me please?
or get back to me asap?

Well I thought everything was going well, I closed paintshop down and now it won’t open up again, what’s up and how do I fix it?
